We’re so glad you’ve decided to embark on this journey with us. We’ve created this page to help you get started and guide you through the six steps for certification. Please click the appropriate step below to start or continue your journey.
Step 1: Print your Training Manual
Read through it completely before moving to the next step. You’ll want to save this manual, as you’ll find it a valuable reference source,both as you move through the training, and in the future.
Step 2: Watch the Video on the Introduction to Personality
The video is presented in two parts. The first part covers general information about personality, and introduces the four color personality process.
Step 3: Take the Personality Assessment
Take the online personality assessment. Read about your color both online and in the training manual. You’ll want to read through and print all of the information offered in the online assessment, as some of this information isn’t included in the training manual.
Step 4: Watch the Video on Understanding the Four Personality Colors
This is the second part of the video. It explains each of the four personality colors, and how to apply the information. Pay attention to the video as it’s basically a how to do a personality presentation.
Step 5: Download the Audio
The audio download explains the self-scoring process when using the printed version of the PCI. A sample of the printed version of the PCI is included in the training manual. You’ll learn what the numerical scores mean, and how to interpret the scoring information. The information contained in this audio is part of what you’ll want to include in your What Color Is Your Personality presentation.
Step 6: Phone Interview
The interview process begins by completing a form. It’s quick and easy.Click the button below to get started. Once the form is received, you’ll be contacted by email to schedule your interview. The purpose of the interview is to answer questions you may have about administering and scoring the PCI, and presenting the personality information. The interview is scheduled for 60 minutes. It will be recorded. The recording will be sent to you so you can listen to it as often as needed.
Tips to Make the Certification Process Work for You:
- Go through the certification process in the sequence offered. Skipping steps may create confusion.
- Take notes as you go through the training manual, watch the training video, and listen to the audio download. It’s easier to retain the information when you put it in your own words.
- As you go through the various training tools, make a list of questions you have. Your questions will be addressed in the phone interview.
